Travel back in time, Explore the past & Celebrate the present!
For the fourth consecutive year, Ms. Lucia Goodhart & Dr. Emanuel (Manny) Goldman will co-lead the 2009 Jan Term entitled Landscapes of Memory, Roots of Hope.
Providing 2 credits to McDaniel students, the itinerary includes a 2-week plus adventure & educational journey to Israel encompassing the contemporary & historic Land of Israel, its Biblical roots, sacred sites to Christianity, Islam and Judaism, spectacular archaeological digging sites, ancient Galilean cities, including Nazareth, the Sea of Galilee, the incredibly beautiful Baha'i Temple in Haifa, the sun drenched beaches along Israel's Mediterranean coast, the stark Judean desert & so much more. Also included is a day in Prague, Czech Republic.
This study tour will take place from January 4th to January 20th, 2008.
