Graduating seniors earn top awards
Two graduating seniors were awarded the College’s top academic honors at McDaniel’s May 24 Commencement ceremony. Patrick S. Bonaduce received the Argonaut Award, given to the senior with the highest grade-point average, and Emily J. Paull received an Edith Farr Ridington Phi Beta Kappa Writing Award for the most well-written paper. » Full Story

A partner in building the future of McDaniel College in its Carpe Diem Campaign, the France-Merrick Foundation of Baltimore recently announced a $500,000 challenge grant to the liberal arts college to fund scholarships for deserving students from Baltimore City in financial need. » Full Story

Retiring French Professor Collette Henriette
Turning in final grades reports on May 20 marked more than the end of the term for faculty Colette Henriette, Alex Ober and Dan Rees. Having decided to retire, these teaching scholars were honored with emeritus status by the Board of Trustees and recognition at Commencement. » Full Story
