Merritt Fitness Center offers a weight room and playing courts. All must sign in. Students, faculty, and staff must have I.D. and accompany their guest, who should obtain a pass at the desk.

McDaniel College P.E. and athletic scheduled activities (e.g. classes, games, practices) and faculty have priority use of the facilities.

Swimming Pool

Decker Center, ground floor Ext. 2717 or 410/857-2717 Monday - Friday, 12 - 1 p.m.
Monday - Thursday, 8:30 - 10 p.m.
Sunday, 7 - 9 p.m. Adult only (18 & over) lap swim. The fee for community members is $1 each time you come in to swim. There are no other available swims for the community.
Monday - Friday, 12 - 1 p.m.

• That afternoon swims on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday will end at 12:45 p.m. until Oct. 1 due to a class. The regular schedule will resume on Monday, Oct. 4.
• Thursday night swims will not be available until November due to a Scuba Class
• Swimming not permitted without a lifeguard on duty.
• The pool will be closed when the College is not in session.
• Family of nontrad students may use the pool by showing their spouse’s/parent’s ID, but children under 12 must be supervised. There is no charge.

Tennis Courts
