Upon completion of the Senior Specialist program, participants will be able to:

    Understand the needs and wants of one of the fastest growing segments of society, the population of adults over age 60;

    Improve attitudes toward the older population;

    Improve compassion toward elders;

    Improve communication between service-related employees and older adults;

    More fully understand the physical, cognitive, and emotional challenges of aging.
