As a member of a graduating class that ends with a “2” or “7,” this spring marks a special reunion for you and your classmates. And, if you just graduated in 2006, you’re invited to your first-year-back reunion. Of course, all alumni are welcome to join in and celebrate with friends. Bring the kids too…we’ll keep them entertained.

Ultimate Guide to Reunions

Reunite with friends from your college days. There’s a whole weekend full of activities for everyone who’s ever called the Hill home. Here’s a guide to a celebration designed with you in mind.

What is Reunion Weekend?
Alumni, friends and family return to campus April 27-29 to reunite with old friends and reconnect with the College. Participants tour campus, attend informative workshops, and enjoy a host of festivities including their own class anniversary.

Who Celebrates?
All classes whose graduation year ends in “2” or “7” and the first-year-back class. This includes: 1932, 1937, 1942, 1947, 1952, 1957, 1962, 1967, 1972, 1977, 1982, 1987, 1992, 1997, 2002, and 2006.

What if my class doesn’t end in 2 or 7?
You’re welcome to join in too. One of the most popular events is the Saturday afternoon picnic followed by the May Day/Spring Fling Flashback in the Quad. Enjoy wine-and-beer tasting at the picnic, and kids will enjoy the food, music, and interactive games in the Quad.
 
How do I register?
Your registration is on page 7-8 of this booklet. Also, online registration will be available beginning March 1 on the college website at www.mcdaniel.edu/reunionweekend.

What do I wear?
All events during Reunion Weekend are casual. Put the formal clothes away – you’ll want to be comfortable this weekend.

What about my kids?
Bring the kids to the Saturday picnic and May Day/Spring Fling Flashback. Class reunion evening events are adults-only. Childcare for the evening is your responsibility. 

How will I get around?
Shuttle bus transportation will be provided from the Best Western, Days Inn and Boston Inn to the College campus on Friday and Saturday during Reunion Weekend. On campus, catch a golf cart and ride to any reunion event.

Will my class have a group photo taken?
Class photos will be taken prior to dinner at the All-Class Reception. To ensure you are included in your class photo, you must attend the reception. For classes of ’32, ’37, ’42, ’52, and ’06, photos will be taken at your luncheon. The class of ’47 will be photographed at the picnic on Saturday.
