SFC Rosendale enlisted the Army in 1984, from Essex MD.
He attended Basic and AIT at Ft. Leonard Wood, MO.
SFC Rosendale currently holds Combat Engineer, Infantryman, U.S. Army Recruiting Noncommissioned Officer, National Guard Recruiting and Retention Noncommissioned Officer, Psychological Operations Noncommissioned Officer, and Senior Noncommissioned Logistician military occupational specialties.
He also holds Special Skill Certifications as a Parachutist, Instructor and as a Special Operations Support Specialist.

SFC Rosendale has been assigned to 2nd Combat Engineer Battalion, 1st Combat Engineer Battalion (Mech), 121st Combat Engineer Battalion (Corp), 2nd Battalion 20th Special Forces  Group (Airborne), 312th Psychological Operations Company, Baltimore Recruiting Battalion, Maryland Army National Guard Recruiting and Retention Battalion, Special Operations Detachment – Joint Forces MDARNG.

SFC Rosendale has deployed to Joint Special Operations Command, Ft. Bragg, NC in 2005 and to Joint Special Operations Task Force Balad, Iraq in 2005 and 2006 where he served as a Transportation Officer.  Most recently, in 2007 thru 2009, SFC Rosendale mobilized to assist in the creation of the Army’s newest Special operation Command, Special Operations Command Africa, located in Stuttgart Germany. While there SFC Rosendale served in multiple of Senior Logistical Noncommissioned Officer roles. He is a Plank Owner - Special Operations Command Africa (SOCAFRICA)

SFC Rosendale military education includes the PLDC, BNCOC, ANCOC, Sapper Leadership Course, Airborne Course, U. S. Army Recruiting School, Army National Guard Recruiting and Retention Course.

SFC Rosendale has been awarded the Bronze Star, the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation medal (2nd Oak leaf Cluster), the Army Achievement Medal (4th Oak Leaf Cluster), Army Good Conduct Medal, Army Reserve Components Achievement Medal, the National Defense Service Medal (w/ Bronze Star), the Iraq Campaign Medal ( w/ 3 Bronze Stars), the Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, the Korean Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Reserve Medal (w/ Silver Hour Glass Device, “M” Device and “2” Device), the NCO Professional Development Ribbon (w “3” device), the Army Service Ribbon, the Overseas Service Ribbon (3rd Award) and the Army Reserve Components Overseas Training Ribbon.

SFC Rosendale married to Chantal Fogarty, (Captain, Maryland Army National Guard) and is the father of one son, Chase (12).
