McDaniel College offers an impressive range of opportunities for earning academic credit during the summer both on and off-campus, and around the world.
The departments of Music, Psychology, and Sociology teach undergraduate courses during the summer. Undergraduates can also enroll in graduate courses, independent study, and internships in a wide variety of fields.
Students can explore Africa, Australia, Japan and a host of other countries through international study programs.
Common Ground on the Hill, in residence at McDaniel College, offers courses that allow students to try new things, acquire new perspectives, and have a bit of an adventure as well. Common Ground is built around the community of musicians, artists, dancers, poets, and scholars that assemble each year during July for Common Ground’s Tradition Weeks.
