McDaniel football opens its home campaign Sept. 17 against Catholic.

Green Terror field hockey began the fall with two victories versus the College of Notre Dame and Susquehanna, but dropped a tough one to Elizabethtown 3-4 Sept. 10. Carolanne Bianco '07, Kristin Mele '09 and Mel Thompson '06 scored for McDaniel, while Erika Wawzyanick '09 recorded four saves in goal.

Green Terror field hockey travels to Lynchburg Sept. 17.

St. Mary's and Virginia Wesleyan snapped McDaniel volleyball's two-game winning streak Sept. 10, defeating the Green Terror 1-3 and 0-3, respectively. Jamie Bodden '07 contributed 29 set assists against St. Mary's, while the team recorded 83 digs and five blocks against Virginia Wesleyan.

McDaniel volleyball returns to the court Sept. 16 at the Maryland State Division III Tournament in Baltimore, Md.

Paul Hugus '06 keeps running to the podium, taking the gold at the Baltimore Metro Cross Country Invitational in Timonium, Md., Sept 3. The men's team also took first out of five teams at the meet.

The women's squad finished third of six teams, led by freshman Kelly Gruber's ninth-place run.

McDaniel cross country hosts the Green Terror Challenge Sept. 17.

Men's golf landed a pair of trophies at the Wesley Invitational in Dover , De., Sept. 8. Steve Perrone '06 outshot the field with a 68, and the team finished first out of 15.

The squad heads to Ashland, Va., for the Randolph-Macon Invitational Sept. 17-18.

McDaniel women's golf failed to place at the Kutztown Invitational in Kutztown, Pa., Sept. 8. Christine Malkewicz '07 led the Green Terror, finishing in 12 th position.

The team travels to Bethlehem, Pa., for the Lehigh Invitational Sept. 16.

Green Terror men's soccer opened the season split with two wins and two losses after victories against Lancaster Bible and Eastern Mennonite and losses to Bridgewater and Messiah. Todd Knepper '06 scored the lone goal for McDaniel in the 1-7 loss to Messiah.

Women's soccer fell to Moravian 1-5 Sept. 10. Sarah Wallace '08 kicked McDaniel's only point, while Michelle Mullen '07 tallied seven saves.

Both men's and women's soccer meet Goucher in Baltimore Sept. 14.
