Professors Bill Spence (English) and Amy McNichols (Spanish) will lead a group to Guatemala to build houses with Habitat for Humanity's Global Village project in Quetzaltenango, in the highlands of Guatemala.
We will depart as a group from BWI on January 5, and return to BWI on January 19. Side trips to Lake Atitlan and the colonial city of Antigua are included in our two-week stay. All volunteers will stay in a modest hotel in Xela (formally known as Quetzaltenango). Please contact either Bill Spence or Amy McNichols if you are interested.
