Henry B. Reiff, Ph.D.

Dean of Student Academic Life

The Dean of Student Academic Life works directly with upperclass students to help them negotiate the academic demands of the College and supports faculty and staff in resolving academic issues as they arise.

Dr. Henry Reiff earned his A.B. in English Literature from Princeton University and M.Ed. and Ph.D. in Special Education from the University of New Orleans.  He has authored or co-authored four books and more than 40 articles, and has made over 100 presentations around the country.  He enjoys teaching research methodologies and other courses in the graduate programs.

Personal Statement: I am proud to be a member of the Academic Affairs team.  Our primary mission is to serve the entire College community - students, faculty, and staff - regarding any type of academic issue.  I like to solve problems, but I take greater satisfaction in being a facilitator who encourages and helps others to find their own solutions.
