This program is for certification in Secondary Art Education (Grades 7-12). Required classes include Drawing 1101, Design 1117, Sculpture 2211, Printmaking 3306, Painting 3313, Ceramics 2219, History of Western Art 1113 and 1114 and Twentieth Century Art 2219.

Another four hours of Studio Art is required, in addition to the following Education classes: Learning and Teaching in the Technological Era 1141, Planning and Evaluating Instruction 2240, Diversity 3329, Reading in the Content Area 3327, Methodology in Art 3342, Computer Science 1102 or 1104 and Student Teaching 4432 and 4434.
