Students Say...

I had Dr. Kachur for English 1102 and Horror fiction. He puts an interesting and informative spin on the analysis of books and movies, forcing you to think in ways you never would have otherwise.

Dr. Robert Kachur is a wonderful teacher. Not only does he make the material understandable, but he makes the novel or topic being discussed in class fun and interesting. He knows how to keep his students focused and involved in the discussion. When writing essays for his class, he really gives good feedback on drafts to make the revising process easier. Even though it is my first year here, I hope I have the chance to have more classes with Dr. Kachur, because he is truly a positive impact on my College experience.

The English Professor who inspired me the most is Dr. Kachur. Dr. Kachur is one who takes the time to not only get to know you as a student, but also as a person. I had Dr. Kachur for my senior sem. He was my professor and "coach." He encouraged and guided each person in the class to make his or her project the best of our college careers. My only regret is that I was not able to take more of Kachur's classes.
