Dr. Francis (Skip) Fennell earned his Ph.D from The Pennsylvania State University, He is currently on Administrative Leave from the College to serve as the President of the  National Council of Teachers of Mathematics. He is a member of the National Math Panel, was CASE Professor of the Year for the State of Maryland, and has been recognized withnumerous awards in the field of mathematics and teacher education.

Dr. Fennell's favorite number is 7. Ironically, he has completed 7 marathons and has 7
grandchildren.
