Sport Science Minor
The sport science minor prepares students for graduate study in the sub-disciplines of exercise science or allied health fields such as physical and occupational therapy, and careers in corporate or public fitness. Interdisciplinary, it requires course work in biology, chemistry, physics and psychology as well as biomechanics and exercise physiology.  This minor is not available to EPE majors.  Students interested in pursuing a minor in Sports Science should discuss their plans with their academic advisor.  Students completing this minor must complete the following requirements

MINOR IN SPORT SCIENCE – for non EPE majors only (24 HRS.)

BIO 2211 Human Physiology
CHE 1121 Essentials of General, Organic & Biochemistry or
CHE 1101 Intro. Chemistry I: Structure & Bonding and
CHE 1102 Intro. Chem. II: Chemical Reactivity
