Eligibility: Instrumental students
age 12 – 20 as of May 26, 2007.
Acceptance of string students is based on an audition which will be held in Westminster on May 26 or 27, 2007.
Acceptance of wind and percussion students is based on the recommendation of the private teacher with whom the applicant studies.
String Audition Requirements:
- A 2 or 3 octave scale (student’s choice of key) with 4 eighth notes per bow, legato (quarter note = 72)
- Two pieces of contrasting styles or tempos. Memorization and accompaniment not required.
Tuition:
$550 for camp residents, including room and board.
$400 for commuting students, including lunch and dinner.
$350 for commuting students, without meals.
Deposit: $25.00 non-refundable to be submitted with application. The deposit will be applied to tuition if student is accepted.
Application Deadline: May 18, 2007.
Late applications will be considered only if space remains available.
Scholarships: All-County Orchestra members may subtract $50 from camp tuition.
