- Clear your browser cache:
- In Internet Explorer, go to Tools --> Internet Options --> General Tab and choose to clear browsing history (it may also say page cache).
- In Firefox, go to Tools --> Options --> Security Tab --> Cache Tab and choose to clear cache.
- Directions will be similar for other browsers or older versions of Firefox and Internet Explorer.
- Once you do this you may get messages on your screen about trusting (or accepting, or running) an applet that is a third-party product used by Blackboard. If you choose to always trust content from the publisher, the message should not re-appear. If you do not trust the content then you may have problems running certain features in Blackboard.
- Check the Blackboard FAQ's to make sure your browser/computer is configured correctly. You can also use this browser check curtsey of Baldwin-Wallace College.
- Test to see if you have Java installed.
- If these steps do not resolve your issue please call the Blackboard Support Line at 410-871-3118.
