InTech Grants
InTech offers two week long institutes during each summer and Jan Term to provide faculty members an opportunity to learn new ways to teach creatively using technology. Faculty admitted into the institutes will receive a $1,000 stipend and up to $500 to support their instructional technology project.

These institutes are designed to encourage and support:

  • faculty who want to develop technology skills in areas beyond their disciplines;
  • innovative approaches to teaching using technology; and
  • student-centered pedagogies and collaborative approaches to teaching and learning.

 Faculty members who are chosen to participate will be asked to:

  • spend 2 weeks working with Kate Ensor and Steve Kerby in the Maggie Lab or other lab location; and
  • report their experiences to the college community in an informal session during the fall (for Summer Institute) or spring semesters (for the Jan Term Institute).

Apply for the Summer 2007 Institute.
