- Four members of the McDaniel College women’s lacrosse team were named May 1 to the 2007 All-Centennial Conference (CC) team. Connie Wuenschel ’07 earned first-team honors while Meagan Mattson ’07 was named to the second team. Kerrie Wuenschel ’08 and Lee Oliver ’08 were tabbed as honorable mentions. The team fell April 28 to Franklin & Marshall in the CC lacrosse semifinals.

Three members of the McDaniel College softball team were named May 2 to the 2007 All-Centennial Conference (CC) team. Karyn Curley ’08 and Diana Rosemier ’08 earned first-team honors while classmate Emily Trainor ’08 was tabbed as an honorable mention. McDaniel finished the season at 15-19 overall and 7-9 in CC play.
Steve Hoffman ’07 was named May 3 to the All-Centennial Conference men’s lacrosse second team. For the season, he ranked second on the squad in both goals (22) and points (34). He added 12 assists, which ranked third on the squad. He also picked up 13 ground balls and caused a turnover. The Green Terror finished the season 8-6 overall and 3-5 in CC play.
Kevin Curley was named on April 26 as McDaniel College’s head men’s basketball coach. Curley has spent the past nine seasons as an assistant coach at Colgate, including serving as the top assistant since 2002, where he has been a part of no fewer than 100 wins.
In CC men’s and women’s outdoor track and field championships May 4-6 at Haverford, the Green Terror men placed eighth of nine teams, and the women came in ninth of 10 squads. McDaniel returns to action at the Swarthmore Last-Chance Meet on May 14.
The McDaniel women’s and men’s golf teams finished second at the 2007 Centennial Conference (CC) championships April 28-30 at the Pilgrim’s Oak Golf Club. Zach LaVoie '08 was the individual champion, improving each day. He fired a 77 on April 28 and a 76 on April 29 before carding a 74, tying for the best score in the final round, to finish with a score of 227 and earn McDaniel’s third straight, and seventh overall, individual title.
