The Charlson computer lab is located on the 1st floor of Hoover Library. The lab is used for general student access. The lab is staffed with student lab attendants periodically though out the week during the regular school year.

During the regular Fall and Spring semesters, the Charlson Lab may be accessed 24-hours a day with the exception of 8:00-10:00am on Thursday mornings when the lab is CLOSED for cleaning and maintenance. The lab is unlocked for student access between 8:00am and 12 midnight. To access the lab after attendant hours, you will need to check out a key card from Hoover Library. Key cards may be kept for up to 72 hours. Overdue keycards are presumed lost and will be deactivated (they will no longer open the lab door). The student will be billed accordingly.

If an attendant is not available or is unable to help with your particular problem during the normal working hours, (M-F, 8:30-4:30) call x3329 to leave a message.

Note: The Library staff is not responsible for assisting users with this lab.

Hardware in this lab includes: 25 dual boot iMacs running both Mac OS10.4 and Windows XP, 4 HP 4250 Laserjet printers.

Software on Macintosh computers includes: SPSS (on 5-6 machines), Firefox connection, Microsoft Office Suite.

Software on the Omni Tech machines includes: Microsoft Office XP Pro, DreamWeaver, FireWorks, SPSS (6 machines only), Internet Explorer.
