Green Terror women’s basketball faces Lebanon Valley Jan. 4 at home.

McDaniel wrestling finished second of nine teams Dec. 4 at the Scranton Invitational in Scranton, Pa. Steve Colasuonno ’06, Mark Nakasone ’07, Tony Howard ’06, and Andrew Winfield ’09 took home gold medals from the meet. The 23rd-ranked McDaniel squad sits at 3-2.

Green Terror wrestling heads Jan. 7 to Hartford, Conn., for the North/South Duals.

McDaniel indoor track left the DuCharme Invitationals Dec. 9 in Carlisle, Pa., with a few first-place finishes and a new school record. Kristin Duling ’09 won the 300-meter dash in 43.88 seconds, breaking a four-year-old mark.

Also recording wins for the Green Terror were Kelly Gruber ’06 (1,000-meter run), Nick Wilbur ’08 (500-meter dash) and the team of Scott Koleszar ’07, Joe Taylor ’09, Nick Wilbur ’08 and Adam Safley ’08 (4 x 200-meter relay).

McDaniel indoor track runs the Gulden Relays Jan. 7 in Lewisburg, Pa.

Green Terror men’s basketball overcame a 23-point, second-half deficit Dec. 10 to defeat Gettysburg 74-66 at home. Joe Hunter ’07 contributed 23 points and was 6-for-9 from beyond the three-point arc. Ryan Finch ’09 finished with 16 points. The team stands at 4-4, 2-2 in conference.

McDaniel men’s basketball travels to Washington, D.C., Dec. 19 to battle Catholic.

Green Terror swimmers Chris Reed ’08 and Cassie Allen ’06 won events Dec. 3 and 4 at the Franklin & Marshall Invitational. Reed touched the wall first in the 100-yard breaststroke, while finishing third in the 200-yard breaststroke. Allen took the titles to both the 100- and 200-yard breaststroke events. Molly Bolek ’07 finished second in the 1,650-yard freestyle.

The men’s team ended tenth of 14 squads and sit at 1-4 this season. The women’s team placed 11th of 12 squads and are at 3-2 on the year.
