Alumni Hall Renovation

It's showtime.

The State of Maryland has approved a $1.5 million capital grant to McDaniel for renovations of creative learning spaces, including WMC Alumni Hall. The funds will also support a project to transform an existing facility into a workshop for theater set construction and storage.

Relocating theater tech production out of Alumni Hall will create much-needed space for acting classrooms and a lab for teaching theatrical light and sound design. A new set-building workshop will be located at the College’s Union Street property in a renovated building formerly used as the steam plant.
