Going the Distance

"Whether training for the triathlon or aiming for college, it takes hard work and dedication to hit the mark. But sometimes, hard work just isn’t enough. Generous scholarships gave us the boost we needed for college, and now we are paying it forward through annual donations and a planned gift to keep the momentum going for students today and tomorrow."

Make a Gift That's Right for You

Every gift counts. We ask that you support our Annual Fund each and every year to help defray expenses that can’t be covered by reasonable tuition fees—such as scholarships for worthy students, salary support for faculty, and the acquisition of new classroom technologies. Check out the ways you can give to McDaniel below.

1

Give online to the Annual Fund in any amount. Our participation rate is currently at just 18.4% and must double to keep the College competitive with peer institutions.

2

Consider becoming a member of the Founders Society by making a gift of $1,000 or more. Active membership brings special privileges in recognition of your significant impact on the College mission.

3

To find out how to tap into matching gift opportunities offered by your employer, contact Sue Rinker at srinker@mcdaniel.edu or 410-857-2253.

4

Learn about smart options for Planned Giving such as providing for the College in your will or giving stock and realizing a tax savings.

5

McDaniel College employees can now sign-up for Payroll Deductions to have gift payments automatically deducted each pay period.

6

If you have any questions about a year-end gift to the College, kindly dial 410-857-2250 and a member of the development staff will assist you.
