Sally Stanfield ’78 calls enrolling at this college, "the first great decision I made as a young adult." Serving as president of the Alumni Association is "My best recent decision," says the Sports Hall of Fame inductee who has made a career as an attorney specializing in advocacy for children and adults with disabilities.

In her volunteer leadership role, she has the opportunity to reach out to 30,000 alumni, to meet current students and very young graduates—the newest generation of alumni. "I can tell you that they are an impressive, inspiring group."
