McDaniel competes at Gulden Relays hosted by Bucknell
LEWISBURG, Pa. – Jason Maier (New Milford, N.J./New Milford) finished third in the shot put to lead McDaniel at the Gulden Relays hosted by Bucknell in men’s and women’s indoor track and field action on Saturday.
Maier threw a season-best 14.32 meters for the only top-10 finish on the men’s side.
For the women, Rachel McCallum (Brunswick, Md./Brunswick) nabbed the lone top-10 individual finish, crossing fourth in the 60 with a time of 8.00 seconds.
McCallum also teamed with Kristin Duling (Hampstead, Md./North Carroll), Tia Scott (Hagerstown, Md./North Hagerstown) and Jen Thompson (Eldersburg, Md./Liberty) to finish eighth in the 4x200-meter relay, combining for a time of 1:54.66.
McDaniel returns to action at the Orange and Maroon Classic hosted by Susquehanna on Sunday, Jan. 20.
