McDaniel Indoor Track: Home of the Green Terror

Rachel McCallum (Brunswick, Md./Brunswick) was a part of all 30 points, leading McDaniel to a seventh-place finish at the 2008 Centennial Conference (CC) Indoor Track and Field Championships hosted by Ursinus on Saturday and Sunday.

Haverford won the team title on both sides, outdistancing Johns Hopkins on the women’s side and Gettysburg on the men’s side. The Ford women tallied 166 to win by 57.5 points while the men came home with 144.5 points to win by 32.5.

McDaniel men finish fifth, women eighth at DuCharme Invitational

CARLISLE, Pa. –

Jason Maier (New Milford, N.J./New Milford) threw a distance of 13.95 meters to win the shot put and lead the McDaniel men’s indoor track and field team to a fifth-place finish at the DuCharme Invitational at Dickinson on Saturday.

The Green Terror tallied 53 points. Gettysburg won the team title with 132 points. The Bullets completed the sweep with a win on the women’s side as well, totaling 146 points to edge Messiah by 0.5 points. McDaniel was eighth with 13.5 points. Full Story
