DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Brett Foelber (Sykesville, Md./Cardinal Gibbons) recorded 21 points off the bench, hitting 8 of 12 shots from the floor, to lead McDaniel to an 84-59 victory over Hobart on the second day of the Land of Magic Classic hosted by Embry-Riddle in non-conference men’s basketball action on Saturday.
The Green Terror (7-2) bounced back from its first two losses of the season, shooting a program-record 55.6 percent from the floor, including converting 19 of 30 attempts in the second half to turn a 41-22 halftime lead into a 25-point victory.

Trailing 10-2 just 1:39 into the game, McDaniel tallied the next nine points to take its first lead at 11-10 before a Mark Bruce jumper at the 13:47 mark gave Hobart its final lead of the game.
Clinging to a 21-17 advantage, Foelber hit the second of two free throws with 8:35 showing and Ryan Finch (Flemington, N.J./Hunterdon) nailed five consecutive points to ignite a 20-5 run to the locker room.
A Grazioli layup at the 16:59 mark of the second half drew the Statesmen within 43-34 but they would get no closer.
Chris Prior (Westminster, Md./Westminster) chipped in 11 points while Miguel Jones (Baltimore, Md./North County) added 10 for the Green Terror. Chad Arrington (Randallstown, Md./Randallstown) led the way on the glass with 11 rebounds.
