Preston named All-Centennial Conference honorable mention in men’s lacrosse
LANCASTER, Pa. – Gibbs Preston (Baltimore, Md./McDonogh), a sophomore on the McDaniel College men’s lacrosse team, has been named to the 2008 All-Centennial Conference (CC) team, released on Tuesday. Preston, an attacker, earned an honorable mention nod after leading the team with 53 points, including a team-best 30 assists. He added 23 goals and 19 ground balls.
He opened the season with eight points on four goals and four assists against Moravian and tallied no fewer than five points in four other games.
The Green Terror finished the season at 5-10 overall (0-8 CC).
