McDaniel’s Hatton named CC Player of the Week
LANCASTER, Pa. – Mike Hatton (Corning, N.Y./Corning East), a senior on the McDaniel men’s lacrosse team, has been named the Centennial Conference (CC) Offensive Player of the Week for the week ending Apr. 19. Hatton recorded eight goals in two games this past week, including five in a 13-12 overtime loss to No. 9 Haverford on Saturday. He also added two assists and seven ground balls in the 1-1 week.
For the season, Hatton leads the team with 30 goals and ranks second with 41 points. He has 28 ground balls.
The Green Terror (9-5, 3-4 CC) concludes the regular season at Dickinson on Friday, needing a win and Swarthmore loss to make the conference tournament. Game time is 7 p.m.
