McDaniel distance runners compete at Millersville Metrics
MILLERSVILLE, Pa. – Siobhan Richards finished second in the 100 meters to lead McDaniel at the Millersville Metrics in men’s and women’s outdoor track and field action on Friday.
Richards finished with a time of 12.89 seconds as the only Green Terror sprinter to compete at the event.
Erika Clark (Suitland, Md./Central), Roxanne Fleischer (Westminster, Md./Winters Mill) and Emily Peoples (Wilmington, Del./Brandywine) all competed in the 1,500 for the women. Clark was fifth (5:11.59) while Fleischer and Peoples crossed 10th (5:22.37) and 13th (5:31.72), respectively.
For the men, Russell Morin (Lusby, Md./Patuxent), Dan White (Union Bridge, Md./Francis Scott Key) and Tim Snyder (Frederick, Md./Gov. Thomas Johnson) competed in the 1,500. Morin and White finished sixth (4:13.61) and eighth (4:17.38), respectively, while Snyder was 14th with a time of 4:25.20.
McDaniel returns to action at the Mason-Dixon Invitational at Gettysburg on Saturday.
