Box Scores - Game One | Game Two

WESTMINSTER, Md. – Emily Trainor (Manchester, Md./North Carroll) went 2-for-3 in the nightcap, including a walk-off three-run home run, to help McDaniel complete a doubleheader sweep of Gettysburg in Centennial Conference (CC) softball action on Sunday.
The Green Terror (13-21, 7-9 CC) took the opener 3-1 before completing the sweep of the Bullets (13-18, 5-11 CC) with a 6-5 victory in game two.
After a Heather Sagaities home run in the top of the seventh broke a 3-all deadlock to give Gettysburg a 5-3 lead, Amanda Farr (Thurmont, Md./Catoctin) reached on a one-out single and Diana Rosemier (Damascus, Md./Damascus) drew her third walk of the game – and fifth in the twinbill – ahead of Trainor, who blasted a three-run shot to give the Green Terror the win.
An Abbe Miller leadoff single and a two-out error in the second inning stake the Bullets to an early 1-0 lead.
In the home fourth, Rosemier drew a walk before stealing second and third to reach 100 stolen bases for her career. She scored on a passed ball to knot the game.
A Sagaities two-run single in the fifth gave Gettysburg a two-run lead before a two-out error in the bottom of the sixth plated two runs for McDaniel.
In game one, the Bullets took a 1-0 lead in the top of the first on a Sarah Woodbury RBI single through the left side.
Rosemier got that run back in the bottom of the inning, drawing a four-pitch walk before stealing second.
A Trainor sacrifice moved her to third before scoring on a groundout.
A Lauren Wildasin (Thurmont, Md./Catoctin) RBI single in the fourth plated Brittany King (Baltimore, Md./Mt. Carmel) in the fourth before Rosemier manufactured another run an insurance run in the fifth.
After taking a leadoff walk, she stole second and third and scored on a throwing error.
McDaniel concludes the season at home against Salisbury on Wednesday. The first game of the doubleheader begins at 3 p.m.
