McDaniel wins fourth straight, downs Susquehanna
SELINSGROVE, Pa. – Sara Hanlon (Frederick, Md./Gov. Thomas Johnson) recorded nine kills and hit .818 for the match in McDaniel’s 3-0 win over Susquehanna in non-conference volleyball action on Wednesday.
Katie Seibel (Finksburg, Md./Westminster) led the attack with 10 kills for the Green Terror (7-4), who defeated the Crusaders (8-5) by game scores of 30-24, 30-12 and 30-20.
Kristen Nuckles (Sussex, Va./Nansemond-Suffolk Academy) added 33 assists to the offense while Deanne Lehr (New Oxford, Pa./Bermudian Springs) had three of McDaniel’s nine service aces.
Alice Hardwick (Poolesville, Md./Poolesville) had 20 digs while Taylor Herrgott (Derwood, Md./Magruder) recorded four total blocks.
McDaniel returns to action at home against Swarthmore on Saturday. Match time is 1 p.m.
