McDaniel sweeps Washington to remain perfect in CC play
CHESTERTOWN, Md. – Alice Hardwick (Poolesville, Md./Poolesville) recorded 16 digs in McDaniel’s 3-0 win over Washington (Md.) in Centennial Conference (CC) volleyball action on Saturday.
On the offensive end, Katie Seibel (Finksburg, Md./Westminster) tallied 14 kills for the Green Terror (15-6, 8-0 CC), who defeated the Shorewomen (9-14, 1-7 CC) by game scores of 30-18, 30-19 and 30-18.
Katherine O’Brien led Washington with 15 kills and eight digs, while Arielle Brown had 12 digs.
Taylor Hergott (Derwood, Md./Magruder) and Lanni Reisinger (Lemoyne, Pa./Cedar Cliff) added 10 kills apiece, while Kristen Nuckles (Sussex, Va./Nansemond-Suffolk Academy) recorded 27 assists and three aces and Kristie Fourcade (Ijamsville, Md./St. Johns at Prospect Hall) had 12.
The Green Terror returns to action at Johns Hopkins on Wednesday. Match time is 7 p.m.
