Two named to All-Centennial Conference volleyball team
LANCASTER, Pa. – Two members of the McDaniel College volleyball team have been named to the 2007 All-Centennial Conference (CC) team, released on Friday.
Sophomore Taylor Herrgott (Derwood, Md./Magruder) was named to the second team while senior Katie Seibel (Finksburg, Md./Westminster) was tabbed as an honorable mention.
Herrgott, a middle hitter, leads the team 259 kills and ranks first in the conference with 1.15 blocks per game, totaling 38 block solos and 56 block assists. She also has 20 aces.
Seibel, an outside hitter, ranks second on the team with 212 kills. She also has 69 digs and 15 total blocks.
The Green Terror (15-8, 8-2 CC) returns to action in the CC tournament this weekend at Haverford. McDaniel, seeded third, plays No. 2 Johns Hopkins in the first semifinal on Saturday.
