Franklin & Marshall sweeps McDaniel

LANCASTER, Pa. – Taylor Herrgott (Derwood, Md./Magruder) recorded nine kills for McDaniel but Franklin & Marshall notched a 3-0 win in Centennial Conference (CC) volleyball action on Wednesday. The Diplomats (5-11, 3-1 CC) took the match by scores of 25-20, 25-19, 25-13.
The Green Terror (8-10, 2-2 CC) were led defensively by Jenna Filipone (Wayne, Pa./Radnor), who recorded 12 digs.
Kristen Nuckles (Suffolk, Va./Nansemond-Suffolk Academy) contributed nine assists, two total blocks and a service ace.
McDaniel returns to action at home in its own invitational on Friday and Saturday. Action begins on Friday at 4 p.m.
