McDaniel finishes fourth at Kutztown Invitational
KUTZTOWN, Pa. – Val Saucier (Cockeysville, Md./Dulaney) shot a 91 to finish in 18th place overall and lead the McDaniel women’s golf team to a fourth-place finish at the Kutztown Invitational on Friday.
Lehigh won the event with 316 strokes while Mt. St. Mary’s was second (340) and Kutztown was third (342). The Green Terror combined to shoot a 412.
Jennie Weiner (Stony Brook, N.Y./Ward Melville) carded a 96 to finish 21st while Elyse Massa’s (Wescosville, Pa./Emmaus) scored of 101 put her in a tie for 23rd place.
Amy Glock (Lineboro, Md./Hereford) posted a 124 to finish 30th while Tara Fredericks (Fairfield, Pa./Fairfield) and Colleen McLaughlin (Cambridge, Mass./Cambridge Ridge and Latin) were 31st (135) and 32nd (143), respectively.
McDaniel returns to action at the Mount Holyoke Invitational on Sept. 22-23.
