McDaniel finishes 14th at Mount Holyoke
SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. – Valerie Saucier (Cockeysville, Md./Dulaney) shot a two-day score of 185 to lead McDaniel to a 14th-place finish at the Mount Holyoke Invitational in women’s golf action on Saturday and Sunday.
The Green combined to shoot matching scores of 416 to finish at 832. Boston University won the 15-team event with a combined score of 663, carding a 331 on Saturday and a 332 on Sunday.
Saucier shot a 95 on Saturday before posting a 95 in the second round to finish tied for 53rd overall.
Elyse Massa (Wescosville, Pa./Emmaus) carded a 191, posting a 95 on Saturday and a 96 on Sunday to finish in a tie for 59th place.
Jennie Weiner (Stony Brook, N.Y./Ward Melville) shot a 112 and 105, respectively, to finish with a 217 and place 69th overall.
Amy Glock (Lineboro, Md./Hereford) finished 73rd with a 293 (114-125) while Tara Fredericks (Fairfield, Pa./Fairfield) finished 75th with a 258 (118-140)
McDaniel wraps up its fall schedule at its own invitational on Oct. 14-15.
