McDaniel places second at Gettysburg Invitational
GETTYSBURG, Pa. – Valerie Saucier (Cockeysville, Md./Dulaney) shot a 91 to finish in a tie for seventh place overall and lead McDaniel to a second place finish at the Gettysburg Invitational in women’s golf action on Tuesday.
As a team, the Green Terror shot a 400 while Kutztown won the event with a combined score of 338.
Elyse Massa (Wescosville, Pa./Emmaus) carded a 92 to finish ninth while Jennie Weiner (Stony Brook, N.Y./Ward Melville) posted a 94 to place 10th.
Amy Glock (Lineboro, Md./Hereford) shot a 123 to finish 12th while Tara Fredericks (Fairfield, Pa./Fairfield) and Colleen McLaughlin (Cambridge, Mass./Cambridge Ridge and Latin) were 13th (126) and 14th (138), respectively.
McDaniel returns to action at the Mount Holyoke Invitational on Sept. 22-23.
