McDaniel’s Baer named CC Co-Player of the Week
LANCASTER, Pa. – Brittany Baer (Westminster, Md./Westminster), a junior on the McDaniel women’s lacrosse team, has been named the Centennial Conference (CC) Co-Offensive Player of the Week for the week ending Apr. 5. Baer contributed 13 goals in two games this week. On Tuesday, she scored six of the Green Terror’s eight goals in an 11-8 loss to sixth-ranked Gettysburg before tallying seven in a 15-14 overtime loss to Muhlenberg on Saturday.
She also added six draw controls, three ground balls and three caused turnovers on the week.
For the season, she leads the conference with 53 goals – 10 shy of the program record she set last season. She also has a CC-high 63 points.
The Green Terror returns to action at Washington (Md.) on Tuesday. Game time is 7 p.m.
