Three named All-Centennial Conference honorable mention in women’s soccer
LANCASTER, Pa. – Three members of the McDaniel College women’s soccer team have been named to the 2007 All-Centennial Conference (CC) team, released on Friday.
Sophomore Brittany Baer (Westminster, Md./Westminster), freshman Rachel McCallum (Brunswick, Md./Brunswick) and senior Sarah Wallace (Gosheen, Mass./Hampshire Regional) were tabbed honorable mentions.
Baer, a forward, led the team with 10 goals and 23 points, starting all 18 games in her first year with the squad. Baer also tied for the team lead with three assists.
McCallum, a defender, added one goal to the offense while keying a defense that allowed 2.25 goals per game.
Wallace, a midfielder who earned second-team honors as a junior, tallied three goals and three assists as a senior. Her nine points ranked second on the team behind Baer.
McDaniel finished the season with a record of 3-15 (2-8 CC).
