Guests savor a taste of Asia

The 100 or so guests at Taste of Asia I Dessert sampled green-tea cream pie and egg tarts, crafted origami and good-luck bracelets – and enjoyed songs and traditional fashions from seven Asian nations.

No one can wait for Taste of Asia II Song and Dance, which will be a dinner held at a date yet to be set in the spring semester.

“We have so much to share with you we decided to do Taste of Asia in two parts,” said Kim Trang, a senior from Wichita, Kan., and president of the Asian Community Coalition at McDaniel.
