McDaniel College ranks among the top 100 colleges in the nation in MONEY Magazine’s "Best Colleges” list released July 11.

McDaniel is #100 out of 705 colleges in the nation that “deliver the most value—that is, a great education, at an affordable price, that prepares students for rewarding careers,” according to MONEY.

Additionally, McDaniel is among “The 50 Most Affordable Private Colleges.” According to MONEY, “these high quality private schools score best for affordability. Thanks to generous financial aid packages or lower-than-average tuition—or a combination of both—the total cost of a four-year education is below average.”

For the second consecutive year, McDaniel was also named among “The 50 Best Liberal Arts Colleges” and “The Best 50 Colleges That You Can Actually Get Into.”

MONEY looked at the nation’s approximately 2,000 four-year colleges and universities, screening out schools with graduation rates below the median, as well as those facing financial difficulties, or fewer than 500 undergraduates, for their “Best Colleges” list. The remaining schools were then ranked on 24 factors in three categories: educational quality, affordability and alumni success.

In addition to MONEY, McDaniel has ranked as the top liberal arts college in Maryland in Washington Monthly’s “Best Bang for the Buck” list. McDaniel also continues to be recognized among the first tier of national liberal arts colleges by U.S. News
