Merritt Fitness Center and Klitzberg receive national accolades

McDaniel College's Leroy Merritt Fitness Center and Klitzberg Pavilion has been accepted for publication in American School and University magazine's Architectural Portfolio.
The recreation and fitness center was completed in 2009 and features a dramatic glass curtainwall and staircase that create a theme of transparency that draws students inside to enjoy the activity, sweeping views and abundant daylighting.
The project was designed by Marshall Craft Associates of Baltimore, Md.
