Postcards and pennants from abroad
McDaniel pennants in hand, the nearly 200 students who studied abroad during Jan Term snapped photos at their stops around the globe. They searched for Dracula in England, Romania and Istanbul, studied myths, monks and monuments in Greece, savored theatre in England and Wales, traced Jiangnam culture in China and practiced travel writing from Normandy to Paris, Vienna and Budapest.
And they sent their photos – their postcards – home to campus. Here’s a selection of those postcards plus a video of our Greece tour by the Athens Centre, the educational organization that led the tour.
