Re-enacting the fall of the Berlin Wall

The German Club and the Department of Foreign Languages recently marked the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall by tearing down three replicas of the Berlin Wall on Memorial Square.
The celebration on Nov. 9 included German food, drinks, T-shirts and posters. Before taking hammers to the walls, participants viewed a film on the history of the wall.
Everyone was allowed to take fragments of the walls as souvenirs.
