McDaniel College’s Board of Trustees voted unanimously to endorse the college’s next five-year strategic plan, “Reaching New Heights: McDaniel College Strategic Plan 2022-2027," which further positions McDaniel as an innovative liberal arts college focused on student achievement and professional success.
During the spring 2025 semester, McDaniel College students immersed themselves in another country through their study abroad experiences in Budapest, Hungary, Malaga, Spain, Bradford, United Kingdom, Seoul, South Korea, Athens, Greece, and Florence, Italy.
McDaniel Nursing Program Director Heather Gable was awarded $5,000 for achieving the National League for Nursing’s Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) credential. In addition, the college received a more than $40,000 grant to support professional development opportunities for McDaniel’s nurse educators.
Common Ground on the Hill returns to McDaniel's campus for its Traditions Weeks from July 6-11 and July 13-18. This annual summer series includes workshops in music, visual arts, dance, film, and more, plus evening concerts, gallery talks, keynote lectures, and late-night jams.
