Soft Power, Intercultural Dialogue, Cultural Diplomacy

Professor Christianna Leahy speaks at the Institute for Cultural Diplomacy Annual Conference held in Washington, D.C. Other speakers included Dr. Ferenc Somogyi, former Hungarian Ambassador to the U.S. and McDaniel Trustee. The January conference on "Options on the Table: Soft Power, Intercultural Dialogue and the Future of the U.S. Foreign Policy."

Dr. Leahy, professor and Department Chair of Political Science and International Studies, will launch the tenth year of the Great Decisions series at McDaniel College on Monday, Jan. 28 at noon in McDaniel Lounge.

This lecture and discussion series explores eight topics on world issues selected by the Foreign Policy Association, the largest, nonpartisan public education program in the U.S.
