Senior Rachel Walega of Ambler, Pa., brought home her third career gold medal in the 100 breaststroke to lead McDaniel to a sixth-place finish at the 2012 Centennial Conference (CC) women's swimming championship Feb. 17-19 hosted by Gettysburg.

Junior Brian Nuckles of Suffolk, Va., sophomore Jesse Mills of Catonsville, Md., senior James Eu of Reston, Va., and sophomore Patrick Rogers of Landisville, Pa., set a new program record in the 200-free relay that finished seventh with a time of 1:28.46 Feb. 17-19 at the Centennial Conference men’s swimming championships. Nuckles anchored the 200-medley relay, joining freshman Stephen Hoyt of Glastonbury, Conn., Eu and Mills to finish seventh with a time of 1:38.51, setting a new program record in that event as well.
