McDaniel won the 2012 ECAC Mid-Atlantic men's lacrosse championship, and Centennial Conference Pitcher of the Year, freshman Caroline Brehm of Hanover, Pa., was named to the National Fast Pitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-East region second team.

Also in lacrosse, senior goalkeeper Brad Motley of Fallston, Md., was named the tournament's most outstanding player.

In softball, Brehm led the Green Terror (30-14) in the circle all season, pitching the team to third place at the Newport News NCAA Division III softball regional from May 17-20 after leading the way all season.

In baseball, McDaniel will host a 2012 Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) South Region baseball championship tournament first-round game on May 16 at Preston Field in Westminster, Md. All first-round games are at the site of the higher seed.

The second-seeded Green Terror (24-12) will take on seventh-seeded Penn State-Abington (23-19) at 3 p.m. The winner of that game will face the winner of another first-round game between No. 3 seed Penn State

Behrend (26-15-1) and No. 6 Waynesburg (22-18). No. 4 Swarthmore (21-16) and No. 5 Marywood (22-18) play in the final first-round game on May 16 and will take on top-seeded Wesley (30-14) in the other semifinal on May 19.
