In men’s and women’s indoor track and field Feb. 8, Jason Maier ’08 bettered his previous best by 0.25 meters to finish second in the shot put and lead McDaniel at the Susquehanna Invitational. The Green Terror returns to action on Feb. 17 at the Susquehanna Open.
In CC wrestling Feb. 9, Zach Hetrick ’09 went 3-0 to lead McDaniel to a 1-2 day at a Centennial Conference (CC) wrestling quad match at Ursinus on Saturday. The Green Terror defeated Muhlenberg 25-18 for its lone CC win of the dual-meet season. The host Bears as well as Washington and Lee each bettered McDaniel, winning 38-9 and 22-21, respectively. McDaniel returns to action at the CC Championships at 11 a.m. on Feb. 23 at Ursinus.
Ursinus squeaked out a 68-66 victory over the Green Terror men’s basketball team Feb. 9 in CC basketball. The team next plays at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 13 at Dickinson. Washington College beat McDaniel 69-26 in CC women’s swimming Feb. 9. McDaniel concludes the season at the CC Championships hosted by Franklin & Marshall next weekend. Action begins at 11:30 a.m. on Feb. 15.
