McDaniel College has announced an approximately $15 million bequest, the largest gift in the college's history, along with the public launch of a $50 million comprehensive campaign entitled “Reaching New Heights: The Campaign for McDaniel College.” Learn more at campaign.mcdaniel.edu.
Two McDaniel alumni received Trustee Alumni Awards, the highest alumni honor given at McDaniel, during the Trustee-Faculty Dinner held May 8. The 2026 recipients are Maureen Carroll Martin '86, a seasoned editor, writer, and communications professional, and Tyler Wilson '95, president of the Kiva Group, which specializes in print communication, advertising, and design.
McDaniel College selects eight students into the college's Global Fellows program. The Global Fellows program is designed to enhance students’ understanding of global issues, develop heightened intercultural competency, and cultivate the skills and attitudes important to leading successful lives in a global context. Students earn a Global Fellow designation on their transcript upon completion of the program.
Jessica Ford, assistant professor of Kinesiology, has been selected as the 2026 Boehlke Fellow and Rebecca Gibson, associate professor of Education, is the recipient of the inaugural Faculty Advising Award for 2026.
